In July of 2002, Music Mountain began using Enhance Technology’s original U160 SCSI array, but as iSCSI became available they naturally migrated to the GbE interface.  

Music Mountain’s goal was to stream multiple media sources simultaneously to any number of remote audio or video clients up to the LAN’s bandwidth capacity.

The ULTRASTOR RS16 IP was an ideal solution for Music Mountain because it has dual GbE ports, making network attachment a breeze and runs up to 10 times faster than a NAS system.
