Santa Fe Springs, CA. - December 02, 2008 - Enhance Technology, Inc., a world leader in data storage solutions for Enterprise and SMBs, is proud to announce it has joined the Emulex Technology Partner Program, ensuring compatibility between Enhance Technology’s RS8 FS and RS16 FS Hybrid RAID storage with Emulex’s LightPulse® family of Host Bus Adapters (HBAs), including the LP1150/1100x and LPe1150/1100x. By combining Enhance Technology and Emulex solutions, high-performance RAID storage meets high-performance HBAs to offer superior interoperability and scalability.

The RS8 FS and RS16 FS are both 4Gb Fibre-to-SAS/SATA RAID storage devices, designed to operate in mission critical and data-intensive network environments. Features include hot-swappable drive trays and cooling fan modules, as well as a built-in RAID controller that can remotely monitor and manage the storage system through a web based GUI. This brings together protection, manageability and maintenance without interruption of services.

In staying with Enhance Technology’s direction to go green, the combination of Enhance’s UltraStor RS8 FS/RS16 FS and Emulex’s LightPulse HBAs is perfect for VMware ESX 3.5, the leading server virtualization solution. Leveraging VMware ESX 3.5 and Emulex’s Virtual HBA technology, Enhance Technology provides high storage capacity with the use of a single station, compared with multiple server stations, saving energy, space and the need to purchase unnecessary equipment to reach ultimate operator cost efficiency.

While Enhance Technology provides the high capacity storage, Emulex provides the link between storage and station.
