Equipped with dual-port SFF-8088 based Mini-SAS connectors for host connectivity, the elegantly designed E Series further expands Enhance Technology’s position as the leader in developing and providing high performance desktop storage solutions for IT managers, content creators, & SMBs.

The new EnhanceBOX MS series comes in 4-drive E4 MS & 8-drive E8 MS model options that support high performance SAS and high capacity SATA I/II 3Gbps HDDs producing over 550MB/sec raw speed on RAID-0 and 400MB/sec on RAID-5. Depending on the host cards, the EnhanceBOX MS Series can be configured either as JBOD or RAID. The slick looking EnhanceBox Series are constructed with light weight aluminum material for maximum cooling, in addition to the user friendly, ultra-quiet cooling fan, 180W(E4MS) and 300W(E8MS) power supplies, and individual keylocks for each HDD drive tray to prevent accidental removal, making the E series a true leader in this category. All components and materials used to build for EnhanceBox are earth friendly and meet RoHs standards, that won many worldwide awards and recognitions including 1st place by most recent UK based Mac User publication.

 

Available in four or eight ports configurations with built-in backplanes that enable hot-swap disk removal and SGPIO disk monitoring, the EnhanceBOX MS Series accept most recent released SAS and high capacity 1TB SATA hard drives. Other features found on EnhanceBox include a cosmetic, thumbscrew released front door for ease access, optical light-pipe power and activity LED indicators on the door, fan-detect with mute button, home appliance resembled metal/rubber stands, and hot swappable components such as cooling fan & HDD trays that empower the E Series to be the most versatile desktop storage systems on the market. EnhanceBOX MS series achieves Fibre Channel speed at SATA price and is the ideal storage solution for OEM, VAR, storage solution providers and professional video editors.
