The advanced UltraStor RS8 series of subsystems provides a flexible, highly scalable storage solution, and accepts both high reliability SAS drives and high capacity SATA drives. By fully integrating advanced RAID controllers with environmental monitoring, the 2U 8-drive UltraStor RS8 primary RAID unit allows dynamic RAID expansion to an optional secondary JBOD unit, the RS16 JS, through an embedded MiniSAS expansion port.
