Product Overview

The EnhanceBox X4 Port Multiplier system is a desktop storage system built on the latest port multiplier technology that wraps four (4) high capacity SATA 3Gbp/s disks in one enclosure, while connecting to the host system via one (1) external SATA (eSATA) cable. After connecting to the host controller, the X4 PM system can be configured as RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 0+1, RAID 3, RAID 5 or JBOD upon the software feature supported by the Operating System (OS). One simple connection to the host system, it delivers an outstanding 200MB/s high performance to either PC or Mac, and multiple boxes can be hooked up to one Host Bus Adapter (HBA) with 2 or 4 external ports.

The EnhanceBox X4 PM system comes in an elegant metallic silver aluminum enclosure and storage backplane design and is built with four (4) hot-swappable drive canisters, capable of supporting up to the 10K RPM SATA drives. It is a compact desktop storage system targets DV savvy, enthusiastic gamer and professional video editor.

eSATA cable Included in the EnhanceBox X4 Port Multiplier system package, the 1 meter eSATA cable deploy the latest External SATA (eSATA) connector providing more secured cable connection, improved durability, increased EMI protection and up to 2 meters cable length.
