Designed for small business, workgroups and creative professionals, the all-new EnhanceRAID E500FR features next generation USB 3.0 technology that deliveries transfer rates over 150MB/s. User configurable RAID modes give you the flexibility to choose between JBOD (full capacity), RAID-0 (full performance), RAID-1 (full redundancy) and RAID-5 modes delivering the perfect mix of RAID protection and performance. An easy-to-use management utility offers the same storage and monitoring features found in big-system solutions at a fraction of the cost. Multi-interface connectivity, five hot swappable 6G/s SATA hard drives and up to 15TB of total storage capacity makes the E500FR the only desktop storage solution for all of your storage needs.

Thanks to the latest USB 3.0 interface on the EnhanceRAID E500FR, data transfer is five times faster than USB 2.0 and 50% faster than FireWire 800. A triple-interface design allows connection to any USB 2.0/USB 3.0, eSATA or FireWire 800 equipped system.

RAID Protection & Flexibility

The intuitive EnhanceRAID E500FR user interface simplifies the RAID configuration process and allows users to change and adapt their RAID settings based on specific needs. For full performance, choose RAID-0 with full capacity; for maximum protection, choose RAID-1 with automatic mirroring and full data redundancy or RAID-5 + spare for applications that require a balanced mix of fault-tolerance, performance & capacity.

E500FR's CLONE mode goes beyond the typical RAID-1 (mirroring) setting by duplicating critical data onto multiple drives for ultimate redundancy.
