Product Overview

The EnhanceRACK R4 ML, a 1U 4-disk rackmount Multi-lane storage array, can be configured as a JBOD or host bus adapter (HBA) dependent RAID storage array. It is also designed as an expansion unit to the advanced EnhanceRAID R4 XP series Expandable RAID storage featuring MultiLink™ I/O technology with one additional Multi-lane channel optioned for cascading to R4 ML disk array for storage expansion in addition to the built-in four (4) Serial ATA(SATA) I/II disks. The R4 ML (Multi-lane) rackmount storage system comes with single (1) Multi-lane port for host connection and is developed for daily Disk-to-Disk (D2D) backup, audio & video editing, video surveillance, data archive, and medical imaging, etc.

Industry Proven SATALINK™ Technology

The Enhance R4 ML storage system is built on the latest hybrid I/O technology, the Multi-lane, a popular SATA-to-InfiniBand converging technology to bring low-cost SATA disks to the broadband high performance computing environments with sustained data rate speed exceeding 230MB/sec. The propriety MultiLink™ I/O technology is introduced to connect additional disk array system through Multi-lane interface that helped resellers and integrators to offer more cost/effective storage solution to the end customers.

Versatile RAID Storage Module

The versatile R4 Multilane storage system is a host dependent RAID storage unit which provides a transparent and driverless method of adding additional RAID protected storage to an existing IT infrastructure, regardless of your operating system or hardware. It is ideal for Microsoft Exchange and SQL server, and provides the fastest, simplest, safest way to share protected data between desktops, networks and work groups.
