The next generation StorPack “hybrid” S34T MS Series is a high density, multi-disk storage backplane that allows up to four (4) 3.5" Serial ATA (SATA) or Serial Attach SCSI (SAS) hard drives to be mounted into 3 standard 5.25", half-height, system/server or external disk array enclosures connected to the host HBA via one (1+) MiniSAS cable and produces up to 200MB/s speed. The new black & silver T tray design that takes advantage of the embedded light pipes to the backplane for LED signals and added rear cooling fan for better performance. The S34T MS is designed to be conveniently removed or hot-swapped as required by user applications and is equipped with multiple removable, hot swappable drive carriers, allowing users to add drives or increasing capacity as needed in just a few steps. The StorPack S34T MS is constructed of aluminum material that provides best heat dissipation required for high capacity SATA drives and high performance SATA drives with excellent front to back vent airflow. The StorPack S34T MS is an ideal solution for internal server RAID and JBOD applications.
