UltraStor RS series is designed to accept both high reliability SAS disks and high capacity SATA disks, and is capable of dynamic storage expansion to 4x more enterprise RS16 JS JBOD storage sub-systems for a total of 80TB storage capacity. |

The high-performance ULTRASTOR™ RS8 SS is becoming the new standard for RAID protected storage which provides the most scalable performance and high level of storage reliability using the latest SAS architecture and RAID technologies. The ULTRASTOR™ RS8 SS provides up to eight (8) 15K SAS or 3Gbps SATA drives and features two SAS channels and one SAS expandable port. It is powered by a cutting edge 64-bit RAID engine with up to 2GB cache memory, which maximizes disk performance allowing for a broader range of storage possibilities. Built-in enterprise features such as Snapshot, N-way Mirror, RAID-6, & Web GUI management makes the new ULTRASTOR™ RS8 SS an ideal solution for server storage such as Microsoft Exchange & SQL Server or professional storage applications providing versatility critical to a company’s IT infrastructure. An RS232 interface gives users access to advanced features such as multiple array settings. A network interface is available for remote web browser based management and includes the essential tools required to manage and monitor your RS8 SS anytime anywhere in the world.
