The UltraStor™ ES3160JS offers blazing end to end 6G SAS performance as an expansion array connected to your choice of ES3160 FS -D(Fibre Channel), P4-D ( Iscsi), 10TG (10GbE) or SS (SAS) primary arrays .in The ES3160JS offers dual-active I/O modules per expansion array which optimize throughput while providing failover data paths. As always, the ES series storage platforms use N+1 hotswap “green power” modules as well as modular cooling fans to ensure that your system maintains the highest level of cost effect peak performance and availability.

With up to 3 ES3160JS units daisy chained to your primary array and utilizing configurable drive packs, you can scale your ES storage array up to 192TB leveraging the latest in 3TB high cap SAS drives or you can meet your high performance objectives at over 1.2GB per/s sustained by leveraging15K SAS drives in 450GB & 600GB capacities. The ES series flexibility allows you to mix and match drive packs within the same system to optimize both your performance and capacity needs.

The ES3160JS can be auto-configured with a comprehensive menu option from the primary RAID unit (ES3160TG/P4/FS/SS) and reconfigure in minutes as storage needs change. The simple yet powerful management console offers cross platform & user friendly GUI management gives users access to advanced features it’s easy to configure, manage, monitor and control the ES3160 systems, and its ES3160JS expansion units via web browser and no additional software is needed.
