IP SAN Solution

iSCSI SAN is intended for use by small business networks wanting the capability to share volumes over an Ethernet LAN. The iSCSI san allows you to connect multiple users to a network with one pc or Mac as a dedicated master connected to UltraStor. The other pc's or Mac's are then also connected to the Ethernet as well allowing them to read and write from the storage using San Management software. SAN Management Software allows the business to share volumes among others in the Ethernet LAN configuration. Allowing for one or more personnel to read and write to different documents in the shared environment.

Fiber SAN Solution

Fiber Channel SAN is intended for use by bigger businesses that want to share volume files in a designated network allowing only the designated personnel to have access to the files. Fiber Channel SAN is connected through a switch instead of being connected directly through LAN. This will allow for faster transfer rates and will give the user a secured environment in the shared network. Fiber Channel SAN uses SAN Management software for the ability to share volume in the network. The users that are connected to the network are also connected through a Fiber Channel Switch allowing only those users who are connected to the switch to see the volume and have access to it as well.
